Our New Forest U16s boys are currently lying in third place in the table after 4 games played with 2

wins and 2 defeats in what is proving to be a hotly contested competition.

 

 

Game 1

The first game saw an easy win with Sparsholt restricted to just 72-4 with Sam Presland taking 2-24. The target was chases with easy - no wickets being lost with Presland unbeaten on 24 and Jack Harris on 26.

 

 

Game 2

In game two the new Forest batted first against Fair Oak racking up and impressive 168-5, Josh Royan scoring 45, Toby Mills 36 not out, Josh Bailey 27 and Dan Bailey 21. In reply Fair Oak could only manage 109-4 against tight bowling to give the New Forest a comfortable win.

 

Game 3

The New Forest were edged out by Parley in a nail-biting game. Josh Bailey's scored 58 in the New Forest's total of 135 all out whilst Parley made the total with just a single wicket remaining.

 

Game 4

South Wilts batted first and were restricted to 112-4. The Forest boys seemed set for victory in an exciting final over when Josh Royan was trapped LBW for 49 with 2 balls to go.
